Gary joined Exportise in 1987 after spending six years with Austrade and its predecessor, the Export Development Grants Board.
Gary is a Sydney Director of Exportise, responsible for the development of export services for clients, utilising his 28 years' experience in international trade coupled with his qualifications (B.Comm and M.Comm).
Among Australian clients Gary has assisted are universities, large public companies, small private companies, partnerships, sole traders, schools, inbound tourism providers, software developers, franchise operators, law firms, accounting firms, international traders, liquor distributors, scientific equipment suppliers, engineers, architects, primary producers and agricultural machinery manufacturers.
Gary aims to assist Australia's exporters achieve their global potential by providing professional advice on export strategy and planning, by assisting them to obtain government and other financial support, by identifying export markets and by assisting in the development of trade partnerships.
Currently Gary is on the Advisory Panel of the Export Consultants Group of the Australian Institute of Export. He is a past Chairman of the Export Consultants Association Ltd and is a life member of the Australian Institute of Export. He has served on a number of export-related committees and has been involved in the preparation and presentation of submissions to government.

Maryanne Lakiss has been consulting to exporters for more than 20 years.
She joined Exportise in 1989 after four years with the Australian Trade Commission. In 2007 she became a Director of Exportise.
Maryanne has assisted exporters from all sectors of industry and has particular knowledge in the areas of service providers, manufacturers and traders and owners of intellectual property rights. She is involved with AusIndustry and the R&D Rebate Scheme.
She has extensive knowledge of exporting and EMDG in particular, having actively participated in COPAC Continuing Professional Development days and Export Consultant Association Ltd conferences.
While concentrating on the Sydney region, Maryanne also has responsibility for Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, and has assisted numerous manufacturers, wine companies and tourism businesses in that region.
Maryanne provides a personal and professional service and is highly respected by clients and government departments. She has assisted her clients to develop into successful exporters through her advice and assistance, and will also refer them to appropriate organisations that can assist them to develop their business further.

Duncan Bathgate joined Exportise in 1994 after completing his science/law degree and practicing as a solicitor for two years. He became a Director of Exportise in 2007.
He has gained a reputation as a professional consultant with a broad knowledge of exporting and the challenges that exporters face.
His technical knowledge and ability to understand practical issues has earned Duncan the respect of his clients and helped them achieve far better results in their export endeavours than they would have otherwise. He has dealt with a wide range of clients and has particular knowledge of issues affecting manufacturers, service suppliers (including tourism), owners of intellectual property rights, and export merchants.
Duncan has advised exporters from across New South Wales and Queensland on a wide range of issues, including conducting seminars for exporters covering government assistance, marketing activities and international trade finance. Duncan has also presented seminars for other professional advisers to exporters, such as accountants and patent attorneys.
In addition to his role with Exportise, Duncan continues to serve as the exporters' representative on the Export Consultants Group/Austrade Technical Committee, has served as secretary to the Code of Practice Administration Committee, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Export.
